## Frequently asked questions

### What is Dalea AI and what does it do?

Dalea AI is an artificial intelligence tool for people who create content on Instagram and TikTok. It takes you from "I don't know what to post" to content that's ready: it analyzes your profile and your niche, writes scripts with a hook, structure and CTA, plans your week, designs carousels and edits the videos you record.

### Who is Dalea AI for?

Dalea AI is for creators, freelancers and small businesses who want to grow on Instagram and TikTok without spending hours on every post. It works for people who don't know what to post yet and for people who already post but take too long to produce. Agencies and anyone managing more than one profile can add brands to the same account.

### Do I need content creation experience to use Dalea AI?

No. When you sign up, you tell Dalea your niche, your audience and your goal, and from then on every idea and every script is built with that context. If you've never posted, Dalea suggests where to start. If you already post, it speeds up what you already do.

### Dalea AI vs ChatGPT: what's the difference for creating content?

ChatGPT starts from scratch in every conversation; Dalea starts from your profile. When you connect Instagram and TikTok, it analyzes what you've already posted, what performed and what's missing, and cross-references that with a catalog of 50,000+ viral videos across many niches. The scripts follow formats that have already worked, not generic text.

### How much does Dalea AI cost?

Dalea AI costs $19.00 a month or $60.00 a year (the equivalent of $5.00 a month) for one brand, with every feature included. A brand is one profile with Instagram and TikTok connected; each extra brand costs $9.90 a month. The price you see here is the one for your region, and it's the final price.

### Is Dalea AI worth it?

It's worth it if you want to post often on Instagram or TikTok and you get stuck on ideas, scripts or editing: Dalea takes those hours off your week for $19.00 a month. It isn't worth it if you rarely post and don't plan to change that. If you're unsure, subscribe and try it: you have a 7-day guarantee.

### Does Dalea AI work for my niche?

Yes. You enter your niche, audience and goal when you sign up, and Dalea uses that context in everything it generates. It already runs for fitness, nutrition, food, law, real estate, beauty, BJJ, SaaS and dozens of others. The viral catalog covers many niches, and you can adapt any format to yours in one click.

### Does Dalea AI create content for me?

Mostly, yes. Dalea writes your video scripts, designs your carousels and edits the videos you record, with cuts, captions and zooms. What it doesn't do yet is generate the video itself: you do the recording. You record yourself talking, upload the file and it comes back edited.

### Is Dalea AI an AI script generator?

Yes. Dalea AI is an AI script generator built for Reels and TikTok: every script comes with a hook, body and CTA, in your tone and for your audience, plus hook variations to test.

### Is Dalea AI safe and legit?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, the same platform used by Shopify, Amazon and Google, and we never see your card number. The subscription has a 7-day guarantee: if you don't like it, we refund you. And you're not alone: Dalea AI has 1,000+ active customers.

### How do I cancel my Dalea AI subscription?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel inside the app; it takes less than a minute. No fees, no phone call, no hoops. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your brands, scripts and history stay saved in case you want to come back.

### 2. Or adapt a video to your content.

Choose a video from the library or your profile. Dalea adapts its structure, wording and examples to your niche and content style.

### 3. AI uses what it knows about you.

Your audience, speaking style and content history guide the writing. Available context helps preserve your voice without rewriting the brief.

### 4. Choose an option and make it your own.

Choose from three suggestions and refine with the AI assistant. Adjust the tone, shorten sections or ask for new examples.

## Start with an idea. Or a video you want to adapt.

### You bring the idea. Dalea develops it.

Describe your topic and message. AI writes the script using your request and what it already knows about your brand.

### Make another video your own version.

Choose a video from the library or your profile. Dalea adapts its structure and wording to your topic, audience and style.

### Add context when you need it.

PDFs, news and articles are optional sources. Add a document or link to bring specific information into the script.

## Shape your script around your content goal.

Choose your video’s focus: reach new people, gain followers or drive sales. The goal guides the hook, approach and call to action.

The same topic in all three examples: Content planning for solo creators.

### Top: Reach

Open with a difficulty your audience recognizes.

Hook: Camera on, but nothing to say?

Main content: Start with the question you get most often. Answer it in a short video and finish with an example from your routine.

Call to action: Save this idea for your next recording.

### Middle: Followers

Show your process and give viewers a reason to follow your next posts.

Hook: One audience question can become three videos.

Main content: Answer it in the first video. Show an example in the second. Explain the most common mistake in the third. Go deeper without repeating the video.

Call to action: Follow this profile for more content ideas like this.

### Bottom: Sales

Show how your solution addresses the difficulty.

Hook: You have the question. Need to turn it into a script?

Main content: In Dalea, describe the topic, add references and choose your goal. AI uses this context to suggest the words for your video.

Call to action: Open Dalea and create your next video script.

# Content strategy for Instagram and TikTok

Define your audience, goals, pillars and tone for Instagram and TikTok. Use your strategy to guide content planning and script creation with Dalea AI.

## How Dalea AI builds a content strategy for you

### 1. Analyzes the content you already publish.

Dalea identifies the topics, formats and results of your videos to understand what works and what you have yet to cover.

### 2. Explores your niche and understands your audience.

Combines your brand context with niche references to understand who you want to reach, the problems you solve and your positioning.

### 3. Balances reach, followers and sales.

Organizes your content mix across the top, middle and bottom of the funnel to guide discovery, deeper engagement and offer-focused content.

### 4. Defines the pillars of your next posts.

Structures your core brand topics and uses these pillars, your audience and your tone of voice to generate ideas and scripts.

### Context throughout creation

Define your brand foundation and use it to guide ideas and scripts.

### An adjustable strategy

Update your audience, pillars, voice and goals as your brand changes.

### Organized production

Use visual planning to organize topics and track the progress of each piece of content.

## The foundation of your next posts

Illustrative example: Content creation. Audience: Entrepreneurs who create their own content.

### Teach with examples

Goal: Reach. A topic to explore: 3 changes to improve your next video.

### Show the process

Goal: Followers. A topic to explore: How I organize a week of content.

### Present the solution

Goal: Sales. A topic to explore: From an idea to a published video with Dalea.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does the content strategy include?

It brings together your brand information, audience, goals, pillars and tone. These guide the ideas and scripts Dalea generates.

### How is strategy different from profile analysis?

Analysis examines your history and finds patterns. Strategy sets the direction for what you will create. Use the findings to refine your plan.

### How does the strategy guide script creation?

Dalea uses your brand context, audience, pillars and tone of voice to generate ideas and scripts. You can update this foundation as your goals change.

### Can I organize content in a calendar?

Yes. List, board and calendar views help you track content. Putting a topic on the calendar is different from scheduling publication on a social network.

title: "Dalea vs. Buffer: Which is Better for Content Creation in 2026?"

description: Buffer is a great scheduler. But if you need to generate viral script ideas and automate content, Dalea is the better Buffer alternative. See the breakdown.

# Dalea vs. Buffer: Which is Better for Content Creation in 2026?

For solo creators and small businesses who need to generate content ideas and scripts *before* scheduling, Dalea is the clear choice. We solve the "blank page" problem. For larger teams or agencies managing many accounts who primarily need a robust scheduling and analytics tool, [Buffer's](https://buffer.com/) established platform is likely a better fit. It's a classic case of a content *creation* tool versus a content *distribution* tool.

## Dalea vs. Buffer at a glance

We're comparing two different tools built for two different core jobs. Here’s how Dalea and Buffer stack up on the tasks that matter most to creators trying to grow.

| Job-To-Be-Done | Dalea | Buffer |
| :--- | :---: | :---: |
| **Generate viral script ideas** | ✅ | 💡 (Has a basic AI assistant) |
| **Write full video scripts (hook, body, CTA)** | ✅ | ❌ |
| **Plan a month of content** | ✅ | ✅ |
| **Schedule & auto-post to IG/TikTok** | ✅ | ✅ |
| **Analyze post performance** | ✅ (Core metrics) | ✅✅ (Advanced, multi-platform) |
| **Provide on-brand AI assistance** | ✅✅ (Niche-specific analysis) | ✅ (General purpose) |
| **Price for a solo creator** | ✅✅ ($19/mo flat) | ✅ ($6/mo per channel) |

## Where Buffer is genuinely better

We're not going to pretend we're the best at everything. Buffer has been a leader in social media management for over a decade, and they excel in a few key areas where we're not focused.

**1. Broad Platform Support:** If your strategy involves more than just Instagram and TikTok, Buffer is the clear winner. They support LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Mastodon, and more. We are laser-focused on short-form video platforms right now.

**2. Advanced Analytics & Reporting:** Buffer's analytics suite is more mature. For agencies or marketers who need to create detailed, exportable reports for stakeholders with custom date ranges and deep metric comparisons, Buffer's tools (especially on their higher-tier plans) are more powerful.

**3. Team & Agency Features:** Buffer is built for collaboration. It offers approval workflows, user permissions, and tools for managing multiple client accounts under one roof. Dalea is designed for the individual creator, founder, or small business owner who is running their own show.

## Choose Dalea if...

* Your main bottleneck is *what* to post, not *when* to post it.
* You spend hours trying to come up with hooks and video ideas.
* You want to go from a blank page to a complete, ready-to-film video script in minutes.
* You're a solo creator, consultant, or founder focused on growing on Instagram and TikTok.
* You need an affordable, all-in-one tool that combines AI idea generation with a simple [content planner](/en/features/content-planner).

## Choose Buffer if...

* You already have a system for creating content and just need a reliable scheduler.
* You manage a wide array of social media platforms beyond Instagram and TikTok.
* You're part of a marketing team or agency that requires collaboration and approval workflows.
* You need to generate sophisticated, multi-platform analytics reports for clients or executives.

## Pricing

This is one of the biggest differences. We believe in simple, accessible pricing without complicated tiers.

* **Dalea:** Our plan is **$19 per month**. That's it. You get unlimited AI script generation, content planning, and automation for your Instagram and TikTok accounts. No hidden fees, no "per channel" costs.

* **Buffer:** Buffer has a free plan for up to 3 channels with limited scheduling. Their paid plans start at around $6 per month, per channel. A creator on Instagram and TikTok would pay $12/month for the 'Essentials' plan. Costs increase as you add more channels, users, and access to their more advanced analytics and engagement tools (verify current pricing on [Buffer's website](https://buffer.com/pricing)).

## Is Dalea just another ChatGPT wrapper?

No. While we use advanced AI, our system is specifically fine-tuned on a massive dataset of viral short-form videos. It analyzes your specific profile, audience, and niche to generate ideas and scripts that are relevant to *you*, not generic templates you could get from a general-purpose chatbot. The goal is to create content that sounds like you and resonates with your audience.

## Can Dalea replace Buffer completely?

For many solo creators and small businesses focused on Instagram and TikTok, yes. If your main jobs are coming up with ideas, writing scripts, and getting them posted, Dalea provides that entire workflow. However, if you're an agency managing 10 different brands across 5 platforms each, you'll still need a tool like Buffer for its broad scheduling and management capabilities. Some users even use both: Dalea for ideation and Buffer for distribution.

## Does Buffer have an AI content generator?

Yes, Buffer has integrated an AI assistant that can help you brainstorm ideas, rephrase sentences, and generate copy for your posts. It's a useful feature for polishing existing content. The key difference is that it's a general-purpose assistant, whereas Dalea's [AI script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator) is a specialized tool built from the ground up to create complete, structured video scripts (hook, body, call-to-action) optimized for short-form video platforms.

## What's the main difference between Dalea and Buffer for a small business?

It comes down to the core problem you're trying to solve. Dalea solves the "I don't know what to create" problem. We help you fill your content calendar with high-quality, on-brand ideas and scripts. Buffer primarily solves the "I've already created content and need to schedule it efficiently" problem. If your biggest pain is the blank page, start with Dalea. If your desk is covered in finished videos waiting to be posted, Buffer is a great fit.

## How does Dalea's content planning compare to Buffer's?

Dalea's planner is designed for speed from idea to execution. You generate a script with our AI, and with one click, it's added to your calendar, ready for you to film and upload. It's a seamless flow from creation to scheduling. Buffer's planner is a more traditional, robust content calendar. It's excellent for visualizing and organizing a large volume of pre-made content across many different social networks, as noted by sources like [TechCrunch](https://techcrunch.com/2021/05/18/buffer-launches-start-page-a-simple-link-in-bio-website-builder/).

## Is Buffer better for agencies?

In most cases, yes. Buffer's entire structure—from its pricing per channel to its team management features and white-label reporting options—is optimized for the agency workflow. They are built to help you manage other people's social media accounts at scale. Dalea is built to help you manage your own.

## How long does it take to get started with Dalea?

About three minutes. You connect your Instagram or TikTok account, give our AI a few sentences about your business and your goals, and it starts generating your first batch of content ideas and scripts immediately. There's no complex setup or training required.

Switching from a pure scheduler like Buffer to a content engine like Dalea isn't just changing tools; it's fixing the root of the problem. You're moving from simply managing a calendar to actually creating the content that fills it, faster than ever before.

Ready to stop staring at a blank page? **Try Dalea and get your first week of AI-generated scripts in the next 5 minutes.**

# Dalea vs. Later in 2026: Which Is Best for Content Strategy?

For businesses and founders who need a content *strategy* and video scripts, Dalea is the clear choice. For agencies or teams focused purely on scheduling pre-made content across many accounts, Later's established platform is a solid pick. They solve two very different problems: Dalea helps you decide *what* to create, while Later helps you schedule *what's already created*.

## Dalea vs. Later at a glance (2026)

We're comparing these tools on the jobs you need to get done as a business owner or founder, not just a list of features.

| Job-To-Be-Done | Dalea AI | Later |
| :--- | :---: | :---: |
| **Develop a content strategy** | ✅ | ➖ |
| **Generate video ideas & scripts** | ✅ | ❌ |
| **Schedule & auto-post content** | ❌ | ✅✅ |
| **Analyze viral trends in your niche** | ✅ | ❌ |
| **Manage multiple client accounts** | ❌ | ✅ |
| **Price for a solo founder** | ✅ | ⚠️ |

## Where Later is genuinely better

We're building Dalea to be the best social media *agent*, not just another tool. But we're also direct, and Later is a mature product that excels in specific areas. It's the better choice if you need:

1. **Advanced Scheduling & Auto-Posting:** This is [Later's](https://later.com/) core strength. They have a visual calendar, auto-publishing for multiple platforms (including some Dalea doesn't focus on, like Pinterest or Facebook), and have been refining this workflow for years. If your main pain point is just getting content scheduled, they are a market leader.

2. **Team & Agency Features:** Later is built for collaboration. It has features for managing multiple social media accounts, user permissions, and approval workflows that are essential for marketing agencies or larger teams. Dalea is currently designed for the individual founder, expert, or small business owner.

3. **Static Content & Carousel Planning:** Later’s visual planner is excellent for planning a grid of photos or carousels. Since Dalea is currently focused on video content (Reels/TikToks), Later is a better fit for brands that are still image-first.

## Choose Dalea if…

* You're a founder, expert, or small business owner building a personal brand.
* Your biggest problem is knowing *what* to post, not just *when*.
* You want to create video content but struggle with ideas, hooks, and scripts.
* You want an AI partner that understands your specific profile and niche.
* You'd rather spend your time on your business than on social media trends.

## Choose Later if…

* You already have a full library of photos, videos, and carousels ready to go.
* Your main bottleneck is organizing and scheduling content efficiently.
* You are a social media manager or agency juggling multiple client accounts.
* You need a team to collaborate on and approve a content calendar.
* Your strategy is more focused on static images and carousels than short-form video.

## Pricing

**Dalea AI:** We have one simple, all-inclusive plan. No feature gates, no confusing tiers. It's **$19/month** or **$60/year**. That's it. This gives you access to everything: profile analysis, strategy, idea generation, our [AI script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator), and insights.

**Later:** Later offers multiple paid tiers and a free plan with limitations. Paid plans for individuals and small businesses typically start around $25/month and can scale to over $80/month for more features, users, and profiles. Agency plans are priced higher (verify current pricing on their site).

## Frequently Asked Questions

## Does Dalea replace Later?

No, they solve different problems. Dalea is for the *start* of the content process: strategy, ideas, and scripting. Later is for the *end* of the process: scheduling and publishing. Many of our users develop their scripts with Dalea and then use a scheduler to post the finished videos.

## Is Dalea just another AI content writer?

No. Generic AI writers give you generic ideas. Dalea acts as your personal Social Media Agent. It starts by analyzing your existing profile, your competitors, and your niche to build a custom strategy. The ideas and scripts it generates are based on what will work for *you*, not just what's trending in general.

## Can I schedule posts with Dalea?

Not yet. We are laser-focused on solving the hardest part of content first: the strategy and creation. We believe that having ten great video scripts is more valuable than having a tool to schedule one mediocre post. Auto-publishing is on our roadmap, but our priority is making sure you have something worth publishing.

## Which is better for a small business owner in 2026?

It depends on your bottleneck. If you have plenty of content but no time to post it, Later is a great fit. If you're struggling to create content in the first place and feel lost about what to say on video, Dalea is designed specifically for you. We help you make the content that a tool like Later would schedule.

## What's the main AI difference between Dalea and Later?

Dalea's AI is a strategist and a scriptwriter. It analyzes profiles, understands viral patterns, and generates full video scripts (hook, body, CTA) for you to film. Later's AI features are focused on writing captions for existing posts and suggesting the best times to publish, as noted by industry sources like [Social Media Today](https://www.socialmediatoday.com/).

## Does Dalea offer a free plan like Later?

We don't have a free plan, but we offer something different: a free, valuable onboarding. When you sign up, Dalea analyzes your profile and delivers a complete content strategy briefing. You get to see the power of the platform and walk away with a real strategy for free, whether you subscribe or not.

## Can Dalea help me plan my content?

Yes, planning is central to what we do. Dalea provides weekly content suggestions and functions as a powerful [content planner](/en/features/content-planner) by giving you a clear roadmap of what to create. It removes the daily guesswork of 'what should I post today?' by building a strategy you can execute against.

### Ready to create better content, faster?

title: How to Write a Video Script (for Reels and TikTok)

description: "How to write a video script for Reels and TikTok: one idea, a 3-second hook, one point, one CTA. With a copyable template, word counts and a full example."

# How to Write a Video Script (for Reels and TikTok)

To write a video script for Reels or TikTok, pick one idea for one viewer, write a hook that lands in the first 3 seconds, make a single point in the body, and close with one call to action. For a 30-second video that's about 75 words. Then read it out loud and cut.

That's the whole method. The rest of this post is the detail that makes it work, from someone who wrote scripts for about 500 posts over three years and around 40 million views. More than 30 of those videos passed 100k views. Most didn't. The difference was almost never the camera or the editing. It was the script, and mostly the first line of it.

## Step 1: Pick one idea and one viewer

Before you write a word, finish this sentence: "This video is for ___, and after watching it they'll know ___."

If you can't fill both blanks, you don't have a script yet, you have a topic. "Instagram tips" is a topic. "Why a bakery owner's Reels get 200 views, and the one change that fixes it" is an idea.

One viewer matters because a short video has no room to hedge. The moment you try to talk to beginners and experts at once, the hook gets vague and both groups scroll past.

## Step 2: Write the hook first

The hook is the first 1 to 3 seconds: the line you say and the text on screen while you say it. I write it before anything else, because if the hook is weak nothing after it gets watched.

I've had the same idea get 1,300 views with one opening and 14,000 with another. Same idea, same person. Only the opening changed.

A few hook shapes that keep working:

| Hook type | Example |
| :--- | :--- |
| Call out the viewer | "If you run a small business and your Reels stall at 200 views, watch this." |
| Contradict a belief | "Posting every day is why your account isn't growing." |
| Show the result first | "This 12-second video got 1.7 million views. Here's why." |
| Open a loop | "There's one setting in your Instagram app you should turn off today." |

My biggest Instagram video was 12 seconds long and hit 1.7M views. It worked because the hook and the payoff were almost the same moment. Short videos forgive a thin body. They don't forgive a slow start.

## Step 3: Write the body around one point

The body delivers what the hook promised, and only that. One tip, one mistake, one story. If you have three tips, you have three videos.

Two rules keep a body tight:

- **Write for the ear, not the page.** Short sentences. Words you'd actually say. If a line makes you stumble when you read it aloud, rewrite it.
- **Cut the warm-up.** "Hey guys, so today I want to talk about..." burns the seconds your hook just earned. Start with the substance.

Platforms reward this directly. TikTok says a strong signal of interest is [whether someone finishes watching a longer video from beginning to end](https://newsroom.tiktok.com/en-us/how-tiktok-recommends-videos-for-you). A body with no filler is how you get there.

## Step 4: Close with one call to action

Give the viewer one thing to do, and pick it on purpose. Instagram says [the most important predictions it makes for Reels](https://about.instagram.com/blog/announcements/instagram-ranking-explained) are how likely you are to reshare a reel, watch it all the way through, like it, and open its audio page.

That lines up with what I saw on my own accounts. The videos that grew fastest weren't the ones with the most likes. They were the ones people sent to a friend or saved. So instead of "like this video", try:

- "Send this to the friend who keeps posting at 11pm."
- "Save this for the next time you're stuck on a hook."
- "Comment 'script' and I'll send you the template."

One CTA. Two makes the viewer choose, and they'll usually choose neither.

## Step 5: Read it out loud and cut to length

Most people speak somewhere around 150 words a minute on camera, so word count is the easiest way to hit a length:

| Video length | Script length |
| :--- | :--- |
| 15 seconds | 35–40 words |
| 30 seconds | 70–80 words |
| 60 seconds | 140–150 words |
| 90 seconds | 200–220 words |

Read the script out loud with a timer running. Then cut 10%. In my experience a script almost never gets better by getting longer.

## A video script template you can copy

I write every script in the same three blocks, with a note for what's on screen:

```
HOOK (0–3s)
Say:    [the first line, one sentence]
Screen: [the text overlay, 6 words max]
BODY (3–25s)
Say:    [the one point, in short sentences]
Show:   [what's on screen: you talking, a screen recording, B-roll]
CTA (25–30s)
Say:    [one action: send, save or comment]
Screen: [the same action as text]
```

The "Screen" line matters more than it looks. Plenty of people scroll with the sound off, and for them the text overlay is the only hook there is.

## Example: a 30-second script, start to finish

Here's the template filled in for a dentist who wants patients, not just views. It's 69 spoken words, right around 30 seconds:

```
HOOK
Say:    "Your electric toothbrush is probably doing half its job."
Screen: Your toothbrush is doing half the work
BODY
Say:    "Most people press too hard and move it like a manual brush.
         Don't. Hold it at 45 degrees against the gumline and let the
         head do the work. Two seconds per tooth, then move on. If your
         brush has a pressure light and it keeps flashing red, that's
         you scrubbing."
Show:   Close-up of the angle, then the pressure light
CTA
Say:    "Send this to the person you share a bathroom with."
Screen: Send this to them
```

Notice what isn't there: no intro, no "in this video", no second tip. One viewer, one point, one action.

## Common video script mistakes

- **Saving the best line for the end.** On short-form, the end is where nobody is left. Lead with it.
- **Writing paragraphs.** If a sentence has a comma and an "and", it's probably two sentences.
- **A CTA that asks for nothing.** "Hope this helps!" isn't an action.
- **Skipping the read-aloud.** A script that reads well silently can still sound stiff on camera.

## How long should a video script be?

As long as the idea needs and not a second more. For Reels and TikTok that's usually 15 to 60 seconds, or 35 to 150 words. When you're starting out, shorter is safer: a 20-second video that people finish tells the algorithm more than a 60-second one they leave halfway.

## Should you read your script word for word?

Write it word for word, then record in short takes, one or two sentences at a time. You get the precision of a script without sounding like you're reading one. Cut between the takes in editing. The jump cuts also help the pacing.

## Can AI write a video script for you?

Yes, with a big condition: the AI is only as good as what it knows about you. A generic chatbot will give you a clean hook-body-CTA structure, but in a voice that isn't yours, on an idea that isn't from your niche. I wrote about where that falls short in [ChatGPT for content creators](/en/blog/chatgpt-for-content-creators).

That gap is why I built the [AI script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator) in Dalea AI. It starts from an analysis of your profile, then writes the script from an idea or adapts a video that already worked in your niche, in the way you talk. For me, going from a blank page to a posted video dropped from about 90 minutes to about 30.

Whether you use AI or a notes app, the structure above is the part that doesn't change. One idea, one hook, one point, one action. Write the hook first, and read it out loud before you hit record.

# Instagram Reels for Business: The Founder's Face vs. the Logo

Most advice about Instagram Reels for business skips the first real decision: who should be on screen. Before you argue about hooks, hashtags, or posting times, you have to answer a more uncomfortable question. Should the videos come from your company account, or from you, the founder?

I have spent three years making short video. More than 500 posts, somewhere around 40 million views, and a lot of failures in between. I have run a personal brand, a product account, and helped founders figure out which one to point their energy at. The honest answer is that it depends on what kind of business you are.

## Should Reels come from the founder or the company account?

There is no single playbook here, and anyone who tells you there is hasn't run both.

If you are a tech or digital business, founder-led content usually wins. The clearest example is [Alex Hormozi](https://www.acquisition.com): his personal audience dwarfs any of his companies' accounts, and that audience follows him into whatever he builds next. A face carries trust and attention in a way a logo almost never does. People connect with a person, and that connection is the durable asset. Your product can change. The audience you built around yourself comes with you.

If you run a local or physical business, the math flips. A bakery, a clinic, a restaurant, a neighborhood shop, those are usually better served by the company account, tied to the place and the offer. Founder-led growth is hard to pull off when the thing you sell is local and tangible.

But notice the trap in framing it as one or the other. Even when the company account is the right home, it still needs a human face. The mistake is treating the company profile as a billboard. Put a person in it, an owner, an employee, a recurring character your audience recognizes. Humanized content on a business account is not a compromise. It is the point.

## The mistake that kills most business accounts

The single most common error I see is trying to sell all the time.

Every business profile should run a mix of content. Some of it exists purely to reach people and connect with them, with no pitch attached. That is not wasted effort. People are on social media to be entertained, not to be sold to, and when you respect that, the sales come as a consequence. When you ignore it, the algorithm and the audience both quietly walk away.

Purely institutional content, the announcement, the promo, the "we're hiring," is the fastest way to make your account invisible. If every post is a sales post, you are asking strangers to care about your business before you have given them a single reason to. This is the difference between a feed people choose to follow and one they scroll past. [Meta's own resources on Reels](https://business.instagram.com/instagram-reels) make the same point in gentler language, but you can see it in any account that gets traction: the ones that win lead with value, not with the ask.

Two smaller mistakes compound this one. First, not treating the funnel as a whole, so every video tries to do everything at once. Second, quitting too early. You need something like 100 posts before you can judge whether this is working. Most businesses give up at fifteen.

## What content mix actually works for a business?

The system I use is the same one I'd hand any business owner, and it has three layers.

### Content pillars

Pick three or four themes you can talk about for a year without running dry, themes that sit at the intersection of what you know and what your audience cares about. Pillars are what turn "what do I post today" into "which pillar am I posting today."

### Funnel stages

Sort your ideas into top, middle, and bottom of funnel. Top-of-funnel videos are short and built for reach; they rarely sell, but they signal to the algorithm who your future customers are. Middle-of-funnel content earns the follow with real value: tips, tutorials, stories. Bottom-of-funnel is where you actually talk about the product, to an audience that already trusts you. A healthy account runs all three, not just the last one.

### Formats

There are a dozen or so proven formats, talking head, listicle, storytelling, tutorial, day-in-the-life. Pick three to five you are comfortable with and get good at them.

On the craft itself, two things move the needle more than anything else: the hook and retention. The first five seconds decide whether someone keeps watching, so put your strongest line there. Retention is the metric the algorithm rewards now, so keep the video moving with tight cuts and no dead air. If staring at a blank page is your bottleneck, an [AI script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator) can hand you hook options to react to instead of inventing from scratch. I went deeper on the planning side in [Instagram content planning](/en/blog/instagram-content-planning).

## How long before Reels work for your business?

Longer than you want, and that is the part nobody says out loud.

Content takes months to pay off. Of my own 500-plus videos, only about 6 percent ever crossed 100,000 views. Even with years of practice, it took me nearly three months to reach my first thousand followers on a new account. I wrote about that slow climb in [how I got my first 1,000 Instagram followers](/en/blog/how-i-got-my-first-1000-instagram-followers). The businesses that win at this treat it like a process, not a campaign. They stay consistent through the quiet early stretch, because that is the stretch where almost everyone else quits.

So set the expectation up front. The first stretch of posts is you learning your audience and the algorithm learning you. Volume beats polish early. Be consistent first, get good second.

## Doing this without burning your whole week

Here is the practical objection: a business owner does not have hours a day for this. I didn't either. It used to take me an hour and a half to get from a blank page to a posted video. I built a system to help with each stage, idea, script, edit, and that system became [Dalea AI](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works). On a good day I now go from nothing to a finished video in about 30 minutes.

The reason I point businesses there is not the editing speed. It is that the [content planner](/en/features/content-planner) turns your niche into pillars and a steady mix of top, middle, and bottom-of-funnel ideas, which is exactly the "don't just sell" discipline most accounts fail at. The system carries the structure so you can carry the message.

So here is the whole thing in plain terms. Match the account to your kind of business. Put a human in front of it either way, even on the company page. Then give it longer than feels comfortable, because that quiet early stretch is where most businesses quit. If you have been waiting for the perfect strategy before you start, stop waiting. Open your company account, post something that isn't a pitch, and start growing your business on social media this week.

# How I Got My First 1,000 Instagram Followers in 98 Videos

It took me 98 videos and three months to reach my first 1,000 followers. I had already been making content for years before that, with around 40 million views across my projects, and it still took three months. So if you are staring at a small follower count wondering what you are doing wrong, start here: the beginning is slow for almost everyone. The people who never get past it are usually the ones who tried to make every video perfect.

Here is the exact system I used, the real numbers it produced, and the parts I would repeat if I opened a brand new account tomorrow.

## The real reason most people stall before 1,000

The most common mistake I see is treating a brand new account like it deserves high production from day one. People decide their videos need clean edits, b-roll, motion graphics, and a script they rewrite five times. Each video turns into a project that eats an afternoon, they manage to post twice in a week, they get four likes, and they conclude it is not working.

The editing was never the problem. The bar they set is. When every post is a big production, posting becomes the thing you put off, and an account that does not post does not grow. The honest version of "be consistent" is "make the cost of posting low enough that you actually do it every day."

There is still a floor. Decent lighting, a quiet enough room, and a steady speaking pace all matter. But that floor sits much lower than most people assume, and reaching for the ceiling too early is exactly what keeps them stuck.

## The system: high volume, low production

The format that changed things for me is what I call a LoFi video. One idea, spoken straight to camera in a single continuous take. The only editing is a few cuts, captions, and the occasional zoom. No performance of a memorized script, no elaborate b-roll, no color grading.

Because each one is cheap to make, I could post one to three of them every day without it taking over my life. Any single video did almost nothing on its own. Stacked over weeks, they added up into real growth.

### Why low production is an advantage at the start

A LoFi video you can film and ship in twenty minutes beats a polished video you keep postponing. Early on your goal is not a viral hit. It is building the habit and getting enough reps that you learn what your audience reacts to. Once you have an audience that already pushes your content, spending more on production starts to pay off. Doing that on day one is solving a problem you do not have yet.

## My real numbers, and why it accelerates

I tracked every milestone. The pattern is the most useful thing I can hand you:

| Milestone | Videos it took | Time |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 0 to 1,000 | 98 videos | 3 months |
| 1,000 to 2,000 | 72 videos | 3 months |
| 2,000 to 3,000 | 34 videos | 1 month |

The first thousand is the slowest and the most discouraging, because nothing has compounded yet. After that, each video tends to reach more people, so the same effort moves the number faster. If you quit during that first stretch, you never reach the part where it speeds up.

If you want to confirm this is real and not a tidy story I assembled after the fact, my account is public at [@brunokalil_](https://www.instagram.com/brunokalil_/). The content there is in Portuguese, but the growth curve and the format are easy to see.

## Hooks are what make a LoFi video work

Low production does not mean low effort on the part that actually matters. The first one or two sentences carry the whole video. If the opening is weak, a clean edit will not save it, and honestly a clean edit would not have saved it either.

I write the opening to be the strongest line I have, and sometimes a little polemic, because a flat "today I want to talk about" gets skipped in half a second. Put your energy there. That is where attention is won or lost. If writing openings is your bottleneck, a tool like [Dalea AI](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works)'s [script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator) can hand you hook options to react to, which beats staring at a blank screen.

## Pick one audience and a few pillars

The other thing that kept me posting daily was never wondering what to post. I picked one clear audience, startup founders, and four content pillars: building in public, the SaaS market, tech news, and personal branding. Every idea I had dropped into one of those buckets, so my backlog stayed full.

This is the quiet reason volume is even possible. Most people run out of ideas long before they run out of motivation. A defined audience and a short list of pillars turns "what do I post today" into "which of my pillars am I posting today." Pick themes you could talk about for a year without getting bored, because you will need to. If you want help turning your niche into pillars and a steady backlog, that is the core of what Dalea AI's [content planner](/en/features/content-planner) does. For the AI side specifically, I went deeper in [how to gain Instagram followers with AI](/en/blog/how-to-gain-instagram-followers-with-ai).

## Where a tool actually helps, and where it does not

I build Dalea AI, so let me be straight about the honest fit for someone under 1,000 followers. The real value at this stage is strategy: defining your pillars, keeping the idea backlog full, and working out which formats tend to land in your niche. It writes hooks too. The center of gravity early on is knowing what to post, not polishing how it looks.

What it will not do is teach you how to film or improve the visual side. People ask me for that, and it is not something the product does today. The feel for framing, light, and delivery is something you develop by posting, which is one more reason to start posting before you feel ready.

## How many followers can you realistically gain in your first month?

Probably not many, and that is normal. My first thousand took three months and 98 videos, and I came in with experience. Treat the first month as habit building and learning what lands, not as a growth target. The compounding shows up later, and it is worth waiting for.

## Do you need a good camera or editing skills to start?

No. A phone, a room with enough light, and a strong opening line are enough to begin. Instagram's own [creator resources](https://creators.instagram.com/) walk through the basics of how Reels reach people, and none of it depends on expensive gear. Build the habit at low production, then raise the bar once you have an audience that rewards it.

# Instagram Content Planner: Plan a Month of Posts in Minutes

# Instagram Content Planning: How to Organize Your Ideas and Never Run Out of Things to Post

For a long time, my planning system was a notes app. And I mean that literally — a plain text file with half-formed ideas, dates I'd typed and then ignored, and a growing sense that I was always behind.

I tried Notion at some point. Built a template, felt productive for about a week, then stopped opening it because finding anything took longer than just winging the post. Sound familiar?

The real cost of that disorganization wasn't messy notes. It was inconsistency. Every week I'd have to manually sort through what was ready, what was just an idea, what I'd already posted — and that manual overhead was exactly what made me procrastinate. Then skip a day. Then skip a few more.

This is the pattern I see with almost every small creator or small team building content on Instagram: not a lack of ideas, but a lack of *structure* around those ideas. And without structure, the whole thing quietly collapses.

## Why content planning breaks down for most creators

Most creators don't have unlimited time for content. It's one of several things they're juggling. So when the planning process itself starts eating up hours — organizing a spreadsheet, copy-pasting from notes to a calendar, trying to remember what was supposed to go out Thursday — it becomes a job on top of a job.

At some point your brain does the math and decides it's easier to just post something random or not post at all. Neither option helps you grow.

The missing piece is a *defined process*: a clear path from raw idea to scheduled post that doesn't require you to reinvent the workflow every single week.

## What a practical content planning system actually needs

Before reaching for any tool, it helps to get clear on what the system needs to do:

**One place for all your ideas.** Notes apps fail because they're flat. You can't see at a glance what's an idea, what's a draft, what's ready to post, what's already live. Everything looks the same.

**Visual status tracking.** The moment you can see your content pipeline — this idea is half-done, this one is ready, this one is posted — the cognitive load drops significantly. You stop having to hold the state of everything in your head.

**A connection to your niche and strategy.** A generic calendar is better than nothing, but it still leaves you staring at an empty slot thinking "okay, but what do I actually say?" The planning layer needs to be connected to *what you're about* — your content pillars, your audience, your tone.

**Performance visibility.** If you can't see which posts performed well, you're planning in the dark. The calendar and the data need to be in the same place.

## The Kanban approach: why it works for content

One pattern that actually holds up for creators is a Kanban-style board — the same kind of visual workflow popularized by project management tools like Trello. Columns for each status: Idea, Draft, Edited, Posted. Cards you can drag as things move forward.

It works because content creation *is* a pipeline. An idea isn't a post. A draft isn't an edited video. An edited video isn't published. Treating each stage as distinct makes it much easier to see exactly where each piece of content is and what needs attention today.

When early users saw Dalea AI's [Content Board](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works) for the first time, the reaction was almost always the same: they recognized the Kanban structure immediately, but were surprised that it was wired into an AI that actually understood their niche — not just a blank board they'd have to populate themselves.

That's the difference between a planning tool and a [content copilot](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works).

## From idea to script in 2–5 minutes

Here's what the workflow looks like in practice inside Dalea AI:

You drop a rough idea — could be a topic, a trend you spotted, a question someone asked you — into the Content Ideas brainstorm modal. The AI takes that brief, combines it with what it knows about your niche and audience from your [Content Strategy](/en/features/content-planner) (your brand context: pillars, tone, forbidden topics), and generates a set of content ideas organized around where they fit in your funnel — top of funnel, middle, conversion.

Those ideas land on your Content Board as cards. From there, you open any card and the [Script Generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator) turns it into a full script: hook, body, CTA, with variations. The whole thing — from idea to ready-to-film script — takes somewhere between two and five minutes.

The calendar view then lets you see what's going out when, with board and list views available depending on how you like to think about your week.

If you want to go deeper on the scripting side of this, [how to write hooks for Instagram with AI](/en/blog/ai-script-generator-instagram) covers the hook-first approach in detail.

## Connecting planning to performance

One of the quieter problems with planning tools that live separately from your analytics is that you can't close the loop. You plan, you post, you check your Instagram or TikTok app for the numbers — and none of that information feeds back into the next week's plan.

Dalea AI's Platform Metrics aggregates Instagram and TikTok performance data — views, engagement, follower growth, top videos — across 7-day to 360-day ranges. When you can see what's actually working right next to where you're planning your next content, you make better decisions about what to make more of.

Combined with knowing the [best time to post](/en/blog/best-time-to-post-instagram-tiktok) for your audience, this closes the loop between planning, publishing, and iterating.

## A simple framework to start this week

If you want to get organized without waiting for any tool, here's a starting structure you can use right now:

**Define your content pillars first.** Pick 3–4 themes that are always on-brand for your niche. Every piece of content should map to one of them. This alone eliminates the blank-page problem most of the time.

**Separate ideation from production.** Keep a running list of ideas completely separate from your production queue. When you sit down to create, you pull from the list — you don't generate ideas and produce content in the same session. Those are different mental modes.

**Track status explicitly.** Even in a simple spreadsheet: Idea / Draft / Ready / Posted. The visibility matters more than the tool.

**Review what worked weekly.** Five minutes looking at last week's top post before planning this week's content is worth more than any amount of theory.

## The consistency problem is usually a systems problem

Most creators who struggle to post consistently don't lack creativity. They lack a system that's light enough to actually use every week.

The goal isn't a perfect planning setup — it's one that's simple enough that you'll open it on a Tuesday morning and actually do something with it. That's it.

If you want to see how [AI for content creators](/en/blog/chatgpt-for-content-creators) fits into this kind of system — specifically how niche-aware AI differs from just prompting a general chatbot — that post is a good next read.

# How to gain Instagram followers with AI (what actually works)

Everybody wants the shortcut. Post at 7pm on a Tuesday. Use these 30 hashtags. Collab with a mid-size account. Ride the trending audio.

None of that is wrong, exactly. But none of it is the actual answer either.

I've been building in the creator space for a while now, and the single most consistent pattern I see in accounts that grow is boring and unglamorous: **they post a lot, they test fast, and they double down on what works.**

AI helps with all three. Here's how.

---

## The real reason most accounts don't grow

The number one mistake I see isn't bad camera quality or the wrong hashtags. It's two things hitting at the same time:

**Generic content** — posts that could have come from any account in your niche. Nothing distinctive, nothing that makes someone stop and think "okay, this person gets it."

**Too much top-of-funnel** — pure reach content with no depth. Views go up, followers don't. You attract an audience that watches once and moves on, because you never gave them a reason to stay.

The fix isn't to abandon reach content. It's to mix in content that builds actual connection. Sometimes 1,000 engaged followers who trust you and actually buy things is worth more than 10,000 who scroll past your posts without blinking.

But to find that mix, you need volume. You need to test enough to see what actually resonates with *your* audience.

---

## Volume matters more than perfection, especially at the start

This is the part people push back on. "But quality over quantity" — yes, and also no.

When you're starting out or trying to break through a plateau, quantity is what builds the feedback loop. [Meta's own creator guidance](https://creators.instagram.com/grow/reels-tips) leans on the same point: post often, study what works, iterate. You post, you see what lands, you make more of that. If you're only posting twice a week, you're getting data extremely slowly.

AI changes this equation. When I started using AI to analyze content that was performing well and to speed up testing new formats and hooks, the feedback cycle compressed significantly. Instead of spending hours [writing a script from scratch](/en/blog/ai-script-generator-instagram), I could generate three different hook variations in a few minutes, pick the one that felt right, and shoot it.

More attempts means more data. More data means faster improvement.

---

## The 10k to 50k jump is about finding winning formats

Getting your first 10k followers is mostly about showing up consistently and not making the generic-content mistake. But going from 10k to 50k — that's a different game.

That phase is about identifying two or three formats that actually work for your niche and audience, and then leaning hard into them.

Here's why: when a video goes viral for you, you can make more content in the same format and extract real follower growth from that momentum. The algorithm has shown you what it wants. Your audience has told you what they like. Give them more of it.

The problem is that most creators don't recognize their winning formats when they find them. They get one good video, chalk it up to luck, and go back to experimenting randomly.

What you should do instead: when something performs well, break down exactly what made it work. Was it the hook structure? The topic? The pacing? The emotion? Then replicate those specific elements deliberately.

---

## Where AI fits in the actual workflow

I'm not going to tell you AI is magic. It isn't. But it's genuinely useful in a few specific places:

**Trend discovery.** Instead of spending time scrolling to find what's working in your niche, you can use a tool like [Dalea AI](https://usedalea.ai) to browse creators in your space and study the format and hook anatomy of content that's getting traction. The **References** feature does exactly this — you find trending patterns by niche, not just by what's going viral globally.

**Script generation.** The blank page is the enemy of consistency. When you know the topic and the format, generating a structured script with a hook, body, and CTA takes seconds instead of an hour. The **[Script Generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator)** in [Dalea AI](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works) produces variations so you can pick the angle that fits your voice rather than accepting the first output.

**Idea reinforcement.** The more content you make, the harder it gets to come up with new angles. AI that understands your niche and what you've already covered can keep surfacing ideas that feel fresh rather than recycled.

The goal isn't to let AI replace your voice. Generic AI output is just as useless as generic content — maybe worse, because it looks professional while saying nothing. The goal is to use AI to reduce the friction between "I know what I want to make" and actually making it.

---

## A practical framework for faster growth

If I had to distill this into something actionable:

**1. Commit to volume for 60 days.** Figure out a posting frequency that's sustainable but pushes you — for most solo creators that's 4-5 times per week on Reels. Use AI scripting to make that volume achievable without burning out.

**2. [Study what's working in your niche](/en/features/content-planner).** Not global trends. Your niche. Look at creators who are a tier or two above you and reverse-engineer their best-performing formats. What's the hook structure? What problems are they addressing?

**3. Track your own performance honestly.** After 30 days, look at your top five posts. What do they have in common? Hook type, topic category, video length, tone? That's your data — use it.

**4. Double down on your top two formats.** Don't abandon variety entirely, but put the majority of your energy into replicating what's already proven. When you find something that works, milk it.

**5. Mix reach content with connection content.** One post that goes wide brings people to your profile. The post they see when they land there determines whether they follow you. Both need to exist.

---

## One honest note on cases and timelines

I'm not going to throw fake numbers at you or invent success stories I don't have yet. Dalea AI is early. We're in the process of collecting real data from creators using the platform, and when we have genuine results to share, we will.

What I can tell you is that the framework above isn't theoretical — it's the approach that actually moved the needle when I applied it myself, and it's the exact problem we built Dalea AI to solve: helping creators post more consistently, with content that's specific to their niche, without spending their whole week on production.

If that sounds like something you need, Dalea AI is live — [sign up and start creating](https://app.usedalea.ai/login?mode=signup).

---

## So what's the actual shortcut?

Back to where we started: everyone wants the shortcut — the magic time, the magic hashtag, the magic collab. The honest answer is that the shortcut most creators actually need isn't a trick, it's a way to post more without burning out.

That's what changes when you reframe growth as a volume-and-iteration problem instead of a hack-hunting one. You stop waiting for inspiration, you stop rewriting the same caption for an hour, and you start shipping enough reps to learn what your specific audience rewards.

AI is useful here not because it makes content magical, but because it makes consistency cheap. If you can only change one thing this month, change the frequency you show up — everything else compounds from there.

# What is Dalea AI? How the AI content copilot for creators works

I built Dalea AI to solve a problem I kept seeing: creators and small businesses who *want* to post consistently but can't keep up. They know content is the growth lever. They know consistency matters. But between coming up with ideas, writing scripts, tracking what works, and doing it all again next week — most people burn out or just stop.

Dalea AI is a content copilot for Instagram and TikTok creators. It understands your niche, monitors viral trends, and generates hooks, scripts, and CTAs so you can go from "I have no idea what to post" to "ready to record" in minutes.

Let me walk you through how it actually works.

## The problem: ChatGPT forgets who you are

Before building Dalea AI, I watched creators try to use [ChatGPT](/en/blog/chatgpt-for-content-creators) for content. The pattern was always the same: you explain your niche, your audience, your tone, your product. ChatGPT gives you something decent. Then next session, you have to explain everything again. And eventually it starts hallucinating or drifting off-brand.

That's exhausting. Dalea AI always remembers who you are, what you've posted, how your content performed. Think of it as a personalized social media partner, not a generic text generator you have to babysit.

## Step 1: Profile Diagnosis — tell Dalea AI who you are

When you sign up, the onboarding is straightforward. You connect your Instagram or TikTok, pick a goal ([grow your audience](/en/blog/how-to-gain-instagram-followers-with-ai), sell a product, or both), and optionally add up to three creator references — people whose content style inspires you.

From that, Dalea AI runs a **Profile Diagnosis**: a 7-step analysis powered by AI that looks at your bio, your connected accounts, and your references to map out your niche, your audience, your content pillars, and your tone. It generates a complete briefing — including your first five content ideas.

You don't fill out a 30-field form. You give Dalea AI the basics, and it does the heavy lifting.

## Step 2: References — find what's already working

This is where things get interesting. Inside the **References** section, Dalea AI maintains a bank of viral videos categorized by niche and content format. Instead of scrolling TikTok for an hour hoping to stumble on a trend, you browse a curated feed of what's working in your specific space.

You see a video that resonates? One tap, and you can adapt it — adding your own context, your product angle, your niche twist. You're not copying. You're taking a proven format and making it yours.

## Step 3: Script Generator — from idea to ready-to-record

Once you have an idea (either from the References bank or from your own brain), the **[Script Generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator)** builds a structured script: hook, body, CTA, plus variations. The entire thing is conditioned on your niche, your brand voice, and your goals — because Dalea AI already knows all of that from your Profile Diagnosis and your **[Content Strategy](/en/features/content-planner)** settings.

You can keep refining with the content agent. Add more context, shift the angle, adjust the tone. The script gets sharper each time. An idea can go from rough concept to polished script in a few minutes.

## Step 4: Content Board — manage the pipeline

Every idea and script lives in the **Content Board**. It's a kanban-style pipeline with four stages: Idea → Draft → Edited → Posted. You can switch between board view, list view, and calendar view. Drag and drop to reorder.

This is the part that keeps you consistent. You're not starting from scratch every Monday morning wondering what to post. You have a backlog of ideas, scripts in progress, and content ready to go.

## Step 5: Platform Metrics — learn what works, do more of it

After you post, Dalea AI pulls performance data from Instagram and TikTok through the official [Instagram Graph API](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-platform/) inside **Platform Metrics**: views, engagement, follower growth, top-performing videos. You can filter by platform and look at time ranges from 7 days to a full year.

The platform brings insights about your recent posts — which formats are worth replicating, what adjustments could improve performance. And here's the key: that feedback loops back into future suggestions. Dalea AI gets better at recommending ideas and scripts because it knows what actually performed for *your* audience, not some generic benchmark.

## The full loop

This is what makes Dalea AI different from a tool that does one thing. It works end to end:

**Aggregate references → Generate ideas → Write scripts → Track what works → Feed that back into better suggestions.**

Early adopters have told us their content feels more cohesive now — posts follow a logical thread, staying on-brand and building on each other instead of feeling random. That's the compound effect of having a copilot that remembers everything.

## What Dalea AI does

Each of the six tools has its own page with the details:

- **[AI script generator for Reels and TikTok](/en/features/ai-script-generator)**: writes the script from an idea, or adapts another video to your content.
- **[AI content planner](/en/features/content-planner)**: sets your audience, goals, pillars and tone, and every piece of content follows them.
- **[Automatic video editor](/en/features/automatic-video-editor)**: cuts, captions, zooms and animations on your recording, exported in 1080p.
- **[AI carousel generator](/en/features/ai-carousel-generator)**: turns an idea, a link or a PDF into an Instagram carousel with text, images and your brand.
- **[Viral video library](/en/features/viral-video-library)**: viral videos from your niche with their analysis and the transcribed script.
- **[Instagram and TikTok profile analysis](/en/features/instagram-tiktok-profile-analysis)**: your strongest hooks, the videos with potential and the creators in your niche.

## Who is Dalea AI for?

If you're a solo creator or small business posting on Instagram or TikTok and you struggle with any of these:

- Running out of ideas mid-week
- Spending too long writing scripts for each video
- Getting generic output from ChatGPT that doesn't fit your niche
- Not knowing which content formats are actually working

Dalea AI was built for you. It's not a scheduling tool. It's not an analytics dashboard. It's a content creation copilot — the part that happens *before* you hit record.

Want to know the price, the guarantee, payment methods or how to cancel? The short answers are in the [Dalea AI FAQ](/en/faq).

# Best time to post on Instagram and TikTok (2026 creator guide)

Every content creator has googled this at least once: "what's the best time to post on Instagram?" or "when should I post on TikTok for more views?". And most articles answer with generic little tables that say "post between 11am and 1pm" or "Tuesday and Thursday are the best days".

The problem? Those answers are based on global averages that probably have nothing to do with your audience. Let's talk about what actually works.

## The most commonly cited times (and why they're just a starting point)

Public studies like [HubSpot's research on the best times to post on social media](https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/best-times-post-pin-tweet-social-media-infographic) point to general windows:

### Instagram

- Monday through Friday: 9am-11am and 6pm-9pm
- Reels tend to perform well between 9am and 12pm
- Sundays typically see lower engagement

### TikTok

- Tuesday through Thursday: 10am-12pm and 7pm-11pm
- Saturday mornings see spikes in lifestyle niches
- TikTok's algorithm distributes content over a longer period, so the initial posting time matters less

This data isn't useless. It's a reasonable starting point if you're starting from zero with no data of your own. But treating it as a fixed rule is a mistake.

## Why the "best time" depends on your niche

A fitness account targeting women aged 25-35 has a completely different audience from a B2B SaaS account. The times when these people are on their phone, willing to watch a Reel to the end, are different.

Healthy eating creators, for example, tend to see engagement spikes around lunch and late afternoon, when people are thinking about "what's for dinner". Productivity and business accounts perform better early in the morning, when their audience is in "I'm going to conquer the world" mode.

The point is: the best time to post is when **your** audience is online and receptive. Not when a generic table says so.

## How to find your own best time

Instead of copying times from articles, use your own data:

### On Instagram

Go to Insights > Audience > Most active times. Instagram shows exactly when your followers are online, by day and by hour. Post 30-60 minutes before those peaks.

### On TikTok

Go to Analytics > Followers > Follower activity. Same logic: identify peak activity times and schedule your posts to land just before.

### Manual A/B testing

For 2-3 weeks, alternate posting times and compare metrics. Post the same type of content at different times and see where you get more reach. Don't change everything at once — isolate the variable.

What you'll find is that the ideal time varies not just by niche, but by content type. A longer tutorial might perform better at night, when people have more time. A quick, funny Reel might pop off during lunch.

## What matters more than timing

Here's the truth nobody wants to hear: posting time is responsible for maybe 5-10% of your content's performance. The rest depends on:

**The hook.** The first 2 seconds decide whether someone watches or scrolls past. A weak hook at the "best time" loses to a strong hook at the "worst time". Every time.

**Script quality.** A video with clear structure — hook, body, CTA — retains more viewers. And retention is the main signal the algorithm uses to decide whether to push your content to more people.

**Consistency.** Posting 4x a week at the "wrong time" outperforms posting 1x a week at the "perfect time". The algorithm rewards creators who publish regularly.

**Trends.** Using a trending format or sound multiplies your reach regardless of timing. The algorithm prioritizes content that fits what people are consuming right now.

## The mistake of optimizing timing before content

Many creators spend too much energy trying to find the perfect posting time while the real bottleneck is the content itself. If it takes you 2 hours to write a script and you end up posting only 2x a week, the problem isn't timing — it's production speed.

This is where the approach shifts: instead of optimizing when you post, optimize what you post and how often.

A creator who posts 5x a week with solid scripts, even at varying times, will grow faster than one who posts 2x a week at the "ideal time". Data from every serious study on social media growth confirms this.

## How AI changes the equation

If the bottleneck is content production, the solution isn't finding the magic posting time — it's speeding up creation.

An **[AI script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator)** like [Dalea AI](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works) solves exactly this. Instead of spending 1-2 hours per script, you generate a complete script in minutes — with hook, structure, and CTA already tailored to your niche.

With faster production, you can:
- Post more frequently (the factor that most impacts growth)
- Test more times and formats (more data = better decisions)
- Spend your time recording and engaging instead of writing

When you produce content fast, timing becomes a variable you can test at your own pace, instead of a bottleneck that blocks everything.

## Practical takeaway

If you're just starting out, use the general times as a baseline: morning (9-11am) and evening (6-9pm) for Instagram, and test different windows on TikTok. After 2-3 weeks, look at your own data and adjust.

But don't get stuck on it. The best time to post is when you have good content ready. Focus on creating scripts that grab attention in the first 2 seconds, maintaining [posting consistency](/en/features/content-planner), and riding trends in your niche.

Timing optimizes the margins. Content determines the outcome.

# AI script generator for Instagram: Reels scripts in seconds

If you've ever stared at a blank screen trying to write an Instagram Reels script, you already know the writing is the bottleneck. Not the filming. Not the editing. The writing. An **[AI script generator for Instagram](/en/features/ai-script-generator)** can collapse hours of work into seconds, but only if it actually understands what makes short-form video scripts work.

## Why writing Reels scripts takes so long

Here's what usually happens. You have a rough idea, maybe a tip or a hot take. You sit down to write and immediately get stuck on the opening line. You rewrite it four times. The body doesn't flow. You scrap it and start over.

For a 30-60 second video, most creators spend 30 minutes to an hour per script. Multiply that by five posts a week and you're burning an entire workday just on writing. That's before filming, editing, or posting.

The problem isn't that you're slow. It's that short-form scripts are deceptively hard. Every second counts, and the structure has to be tight.

## What makes a great short-form video script

Every high-performing Reel or TikTok follows the same skeleton: hook, body, CTA. Simple in theory, brutal in practice.

The hook is the first 1-3 seconds. It stops the scroll. If your hook is weak, nobody sees the rest. [Meta's own Reels guidance](https://creators.instagram.com/grow/reels-tips) tells creators to obsess over the opening seconds because that is what determines whether the algorithm distributes the video. Good hooks create an open loop, challenge an assumption, or promise a specific outcome.

The body delivers on the hook's promise. Your tip, story, tutorial, or argument. Density is everything here. No filler sentences. Every line either adds value or builds tension toward the next line.

The CTA tells people what to do next. Follow, save, comment, click the link. A good CTA feels like a natural next step, not a sales pitch bolted onto the end.

Most creators can identify these parts. The hard part is writing all three well, for every single post, week after week.

## How an AI script generator actually works

An **Instagram Reels script generator** takes your raw idea and structures it into that hook-body-CTA format automatically. You feed it a topic or rough concept, and it produces a complete script you can film.

But here's where most tools fall apart: they treat every creator the same. A fitness coach, a skincare brand, and a tech reviewer all get the same generic output. The tone is wrong. The examples don't land. The hooks feel like they were written for nobody in particular.

That's because most AI tools are general-purpose. They don't know your niche, your audience, or what's trending in your space right now. They just remix generic templates.

## Why niche context matters more than prompt quality

Think about it this way. A hook that works in the fitness niche, "The exercise you're doing wrong every morning", would make zero sense for a cooking creator. Niche matters for tone, vocabulary, pain points, and what the audience actually responds to.

A niche-aware [AI script generator](/en/blog/how-to-gain-instagram-followers-with-ai) doesn't just know about short-form video structure. It understands the specific language, trends, and audience expectations in your space. It knows that fitness audiences respond to myth-busting hooks while recipe audiences respond to "you'll never buy store-bought again" angles.

This is the difference between a script you have to rewrite from scratch and one you can film in ten minutes with minor tweaks.

## How to write hooks for Instagram with AI

Hooks are where AI can save you the most time, because they're the hardest part to write from zero. Here are practical ways to get better hooks out of AI tools.

Start with the payoff, not the topic. Don't tell the AI "write a hook about meal prep." Tell it "write a hook for a video that shows how to prep 5 lunches in 20 minutes." The more specific the outcome, the sharper the hook.

Give it your niche and audience. Something like: "I'm a personal trainer who helps busy professionals. My audience is 25-40 year olds who want to work out but have no time." That context shapes tone, vocabulary, and the assumptions the hook can make.

Ask for multiple options. Generate 5-10 hooks, then pick the one that sounds most like you. AI is better at giving you raw material to choose from than nailing it on the first try.

Use trending formats as templates. If "POV:" hooks are trending in your niche, tell the AI. If listicle openings are performing, ask for those specifically.

## Generic AI produces generic scripts

Let's be honest about [ChatGPT](/en/blog/chatgpt-for-content-creators) and other general-purpose AI. They can write scripts. But the output usually sounds like it was written by someone who has never actually posted a Reel.

You get lines like "Are you struggling with your content creation journey?", the kind of opener that makes every creator cringe. Technically a hook. Just not one that works. Too broad, too corporate, too obviously written by a machine.

The issue is that generic AI doesn't have context about what performs on Instagram right now. It doesn't know that conversational, punchy hooks outperform question-based hooks in most niches. It doesn't know which trends are rising in your space this week.

## What niche-aware AI does differently

A purpose-built **[AI script generator](/en/features/ai-script-generator) for Instagram** like [Dalea AI](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works) works differently because it has your niche context, knows what's trending right now, and outputs in the hook-body-CTA format you actually need.

The result sounds like it belongs in your feed. The hooks reference pain points your audience actually has. The body uses vocabulary your niche expects. Same way a good brief helps a human copywriter, niche context helps AI write scripts you'd actually post.

## The real benefit: consistency without burnout

The biggest unlock isn't saving time on a single script. It's being able to post consistently without burning out. Most creators don't fail because they lack talent. They fail because they can't sustain the writing volume that the algorithm demands.

When you can go from idea to filmable script in under a minute, posting five times a week stops being a grind. You spend your energy on performing, filming, connecting with your audience. Not staring at a blank page wondering what your first line should be.

# Why ChatGPT fails content creators (and what to use instead)

Every content creator has tried using **ChatGPT for social media content** at least once. You paste in a prompt, get back a caption or script, and think — okay, this could work. Then you read it again and realize it sounds like a LinkedIn post from 2019.

I use ChatGPT for all kinds of things. But for Instagram and TikTok scripts? It keeps letting me down. Here's why, and what actually works better.

## The appeal is obvious

ChatGPT is free (or cheap), it's fast, and [OpenAI markets it as a general-purpose assistant](https://openai.com/chatgpt/overview/) that can write about almost anything. Need 10 caption ideas? Done. Want a script outline? Done. It removes the blank page problem, and for creators who post daily, that alone feels like a superpower.

Most creators start with ChatGPT because it's what they already know. It's the default. And for brainstorming rough ideas or rewording a sentence, it genuinely works fine.

The problems show up when you try to use it as your actual content engine.

## Where ChatGPT falls short for creators

There are four specific areas where generic AI breaks down for social media content. These aren't edge cases — they show up every single time.

No niche awareness. ChatGPT doesn't know your audience, your niche, or what kind of content performs in your space. It treats a fitness creator and a finance educator exactly the same way. The output is technically correct but tonally off.

No trend context. It doesn't know what's trending on Instagram this week. Can't tell you which hook styles are getting saves, or what your competitors just posted. It's working from training data, not what's happening on the platform right now.

Generic structure. ChatGPT writes in paragraphs. Social media scripts need hooks, punchy delivery, and CTAs. You have to fight the tool to get output in the right format, and even then it usually needs heavy editing.

Heavy editing. This is the biggest hidden cost. You ask ChatGPT for a Reels script and spend 15 minutes rewriting it to sound like you. At that point, you might as well have written it from scratch.

## A concrete example: fitness creator

Let's make this real. Say you're a fitness creator who helps busy moms get strong at home. You want a Reel about the best 10-minute workout for beginners.

What ChatGPT gives you:

> "Are you a busy mom looking to get fit? Finding time to exercise can be challenging, but with this simple 10-minute workout routine, you can start your fitness journey from the comfort of your home. Here are five exercises that will help you build strength and feel amazing..."

Reads like a blog intro from 2015. No hook. No personality. "Fitness journey" and "feel amazing" are phrases your audience has heard a thousand times. You'd have to gut it and start over.

What a niche-aware AI gives you:

> "You have 10 minutes between school drop-off and your first meeting. Here's exactly what to do. No equipment, no changing clothes, no excuses. This is the workout I give every mom who tells me she has no time."

Same topic. Completely different energy. The second version works because it understands the audience — busy moms, not generic fitness enthusiasts. It uses specific scenarios they live every day. It hooks with a real situation instead of a vague question.

## What a purpose-built AI for creators actually does

A **[ChatGPT alternative for content creators](/en/features/ai-script-generator)** like [Dalea AI](/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works) works differently because it was built for this specific job.

You tell it once that you're a fitness creator for busy moms, and every script reflects that. The language, the examples, the pain points, all there without you re-explaining your brand in every prompt.

It monitors trends automatically. Instead of you scrolling through Instagram to spot what's working, the AI already knows what's performing in your niche this week.

Scripts come out in the right format. Hook, body, CTA, structured for short-form video. No reformatting. No extracting the usable parts from three paragraphs of filler. And because the AI learns your niche and style, the output sounds closer to you on a good day. Less editing, more filming.

## When ChatGPT is actually enough

Let's be fair. ChatGPT works perfectly fine for certain things, and you don't need to replace it for everything.

Brainstorming raw ideas. If you just need a list of 20 topic ideas to pick from, ChatGPT is fast and broad enough. You're using it as a starting point, not as the final product.

Rephrasing or polishing. If you already wrote your script and want to tighten a sentence or find a better word, ChatGPT handles that well.

Non-platform content. Emails, blog outlines, product descriptions. Anything where niche tone and platform format don't matter as much.

Where it falls apart is the core creator workflow: going from a rough idea to a platform-ready script that sounds like you and lands with your audience. That's where you need something built specifically for the job.

## The real cost of "good enough"

Creators who stick with ChatGPT for their scripts usually fall into one of two patterns. Either they spend 20+ minutes editing every output to make it usable, or they post the generic version and wonder why engagement is flat.

Both patterns cost you. The first costs time you could spend filming or engaging with your audience. The second costs reach — the algorithm buries generic content because people scroll past it.

The math is simple. If a purpose-built tool saves you even 15 minutes per script, and you post five times a week, that's over five hours a month. Five hours you could spend on the parts of creating that actually require you — showing up on camera, connecting with your community, developing your brand.

## Pick the right tool for the job

ChatGPT is a Swiss Army knife. Useful for many things, specialized in none. For creators who need to post consistently on Instagram and TikTok, that's not enough.

You need a tool that knows your niche, follows what's trending, and outputs scripts in the format you actually use. Not because ChatGPT is bad. Just because creating social content is a specific enough job that it deserves a specific tool.

## About Dalea AI

### What is Dalea AI and what does it do?

Dalea AI is an artificial intelligence tool for people who create content on Instagram and TikTok. It takes you from "I don't know what to post" to content that's ready: it analyzes your profile and your niche, writes scripts with a hook, structure and CTA, plans your week, designs carousels and edits the videos you record.

→ [AI script generator](https://usedalea.ai/en/features/ai-script-generator) · → [What Dalea AI is and how it works](https://usedalea.ai/en/blog/what-is-dalea-ai-how-it-works)

### Does Dalea AI actually work?

Yes, and you see the result the first time you use it: a script ready to record comes out in seconds, a carousel comes out designed slide by slide, and a talking-head video comes back edited in about 3 minutes. Everything starts from your profile and your niche, not from generic text. If it isn't for you, the subscription has a 7-day guarantee.

### Does Dalea AI learn from my content?

Yes. When you connect Instagram or TikTok, Dalea reads your posts and learns what already works for you. Every time you tweak a script, it saves what you prefer (tone, topics, what to avoid) in your brand's memory and uses it in your next pieces of content. You can view and edit that memory anytime in Settings.

### What is Dalea AI's official website? Is there a mobile app?

The official website is usedalea.ai, and the app runs at app.usedalea.ai in your browser, on desktop and on mobile. There's no app in the app stores yet: a mobile app is planned for the end of 2026.

### What languages does Dalea AI support?

The app and the scripts work in 23 languages, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Indonesian. The video editor recognizes speech in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi, French, German, Italian and Indonesian. You choose your account language and can generate content in another one whenever you want.

## Pricing and billing

### How much does Dalea AI cost?

Dalea AI costs $19.00 a month or $60.00 a year (the equivalent of $5.00 a month) for one brand, with every feature included. A brand is one profile with Instagram and TikTok connected; each extra brand costs $9.90 a month. The price you see here is the one for your region, and it's the final price.

→ [See pricing](https://usedalea.ai/en#pricing)

### Is Dalea AI free? Is there a free trial?

Dalea AI is paid: there's no free plan. Outside Brazil, the yearly plan comes with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel before it ends if you don't want to continue. In Brazil, the 7-day money-back guarantee plays the role of the trial: you subscribe, use it and, if you don't like it, ask for a refund.

### What's included in a Dalea AI subscription?

Everything: scripts, weekly planning, content board, viral video catalog, profile analysis, up to 30 carousels a month and up to 20 edited videos a month, for one brand. There's no "basic" plan with locked features. The carousel and video limits are per brand: with two brands, they double.

### What payment methods does Dalea AI accept?

Dalea AI accepts credit and debit cards only. Billing is recurring, monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose.

### How does Dalea AI's 7-day money-back guarantee work?

If you decide within 7 days of subscribing that Dalea isn't for you, we refund the full amount. Just ask through the in-app chat or at contact@usedalea.ai. We don't ask why.

### Can the price change after I subscribe?

No. The price you subscribed at stays yours as long as your subscription is active. Price increases only apply to people who subscribe later. If you cancel and come back, you pay the current price.

### Can I manage more than one brand on Dalea AI?

Yes. Each brand is a profile with its own Instagram and TikTok, with separate context, scripts and metrics. You can add as many as you want in Settings; each one costs $9.90 a month. With 3 brands, for example, you pay the subscription plus 2 × $9.90. You can remove a brand at any time.

### Can Dalea AI replace a social media manager?

Dalea AI replaces the production side: ideas, scripts, carousels and editing, for $19.00 a month, far less than a freelancer charges per month. What it doesn't do is talk to your audience: replying to comments and messages is still on you. If you'd hire a social media manager just to produce content, Dalea usually covers it.

## What Dalea AI creates

### Does Dalea AI create content for me?

Mostly, yes. Dalea writes your video scripts, designs your carousels and edits the videos you record, with cuts, captions and zooms. What it doesn't do yet is generate the video itself: you do the recording. You record yourself talking, upload the file and it comes back edited.

### Is Dalea AI an AI script generator?

Yes. Dalea AI is an AI script generator built for Reels and TikTok: every script comes with a hook, body and CTA, in your tone and for your audience, plus hook variations to test.

→ [AI script generator](https://usedalea.ai/en/features/ai-script-generator)

Not yet, but soon. Today Dalea creates, plans and edits, and you publish on Instagram or TikTok yourself. Direct publishing from Dalea is coming in the next few weeks.

## Instagram and TikTok

### Do I need to connect my Instagram or TikTok to use Dalea AI?

It's not required, but it's what makes Dalea yours. Once connected, it analyzes what you've already posted and personalizes everything. If you don't create content yet, you can skip the connection and start with references: you point to profiles you admire and Dalea learns from them.

### Does Dalea AI work if I have no followers yet?

Yes. With no history to analyze, Dalea starts from your niche, your goal and the references you give it. The suggestions get more accurate as you post and your profile builds up data.

### Does Dalea AI work for YouTube Shorts or LinkedIn?

Dalea focuses on Instagram and TikTok: those are the networks it connects to and analyzes. The short-form video scripts work for YouTube Shorts just the same.

### Are the scripts the same for Instagram and TikTok?

That's up to you. Dalea generates short-form video scripts that work on both networks and, when both are connected, takes each one's context into account: what performs on your TikTok can be different from what performs on your Instagram.

## Account and cancellation

### How do I cancel my Dalea AI subscription?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel inside the app; it takes less than a minute. No fees, no phone call, no hoops. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your brands, scripts and history stay saved in case you want to come back.

### If I cancel Dalea AI, do I lose what I created?

No. After you cancel, your brands, scripts, carousels and history are kept, and they come back when you resubscribe. Video files uploaded to the editor stay available for a limited time, so download your final versions. If you want everything deleted, just request account deletion.

### How do I get a refund from Dalea AI?

Ask through the in-app chat or at contact@usedalea.ai, within the 7-day guarantee. We don't ask why. The refund shows up on your card according to your bank's timeline.

### Can I switch from the monthly to the yearly plan?

Yes, at any time, in Settings → Subscription. The yearly plan costs $60.00, the equivalent of $5.00 a month.

## Data and privacy

### What does Dalea AI do with my Instagram and TikTok data?

Dalea uses it only to show your metrics and to generate insights and content inside Dalea. We don't sell or share that data. You can disconnect a network at any time: that instantly deletes the access token and everything imported from it.
